Q1. Why was JDM 3D-Prints started?

As JDM enthusiasts (probably like yourself), we have always loved modifying our cars. With backgrounds in Mechanical Engineering, a passion for design, and the ability to solve complex problems - JDM 3D-Prints was born! We aim to come up with new and exciting products which you generally won’t find ‘off-the-shelf’. This is our way to give back to the JDM community; offering high quality products, at a fair price.

Q2. What materials are used to make your products?

To ensure the best quality possible, we only use high-quality filaments/materials from reputable manufacturers. In the past we have experimented with some of the cheaper materials, and the time/money lost in re-printing items (due to poor-quality/defects) was not worth it. Cheaper filaments now are used for prototyping purposes only.

Q3. Do you ship world-wide?

Yes, we do ship world-wide. Postage costs will vary based on location.

Q4. Do you offer local pick-up?

We do not offer local pick-up. All orders will be shipped via postage services.

Q5. When will I receive my order?

We hold stock on hand for all of our products shown, and we will generally aim to process orders between 1-3 days. Shipping times will vary based on location.

Q6. How can I track my order?

A tracking number will be provided with all orders sent out. You can use the tracking number to check on the status of your delivery.

Q7. I have access to a 3D printer, can I just buy the 3D model files?

Our 3D model files are not for sale. We only sell finished physical 3D printed parts and accessories.

Q8. How can I request a custom part?

Requests for custom parts can be made through our ‘Services’ page. Please fill out all of the fields in the request form and we will get back to you as soon as possible. Please include specific dimensions, photos, and all critical information that may assist us with designing your part.

Q9. How can I submit feedback or raise an idea?

All feedback and any ideas are welcome once again through our ‘Services’ page. We do monitor this inbox and will take your valid feedback on-board.

Q10. Will you release more products in future?

Yes - We are constantly generating new ideas, prototyping, and testing new products. However, we need to hear from you, our valued customer, as we would like to create products to fill your needs/wants. As we are a relatively new small business, growth is naturally going to be on the slower side. But the ultimate goal is to have an awesome range of unique, high-quality products, for a wide-variety of common JDM vehicles.
